How to Apply

Puralife® Clean Skins™ can quickly and easily be applied to most flat surfaces such as; door / trolley handles, pull / push door contact points, high traffic hospitality surfaces, elevator button panels, counter tops, elevator handrails and touch screens to name but a few.

Puralife® Clean Skins™ are perforated every 10 cm for ease of use. This perforation allows parts of the roll to be separated simply by folding and tearing along the perforation.

Apply Puralife® Clean Skins™ to clean and dry surfaces.

Simply peel and stick Puralife® Clean Skins™ into position.

Puralife® Clean Skins™ can easily be repositioned if required.

Covid-19 can Puralife® Clean Skins™ help?

Puralife® Clean Skins™ antimicrobial technology is primarily effective against bacteria but is also highly effective against the growth and proliferation of viruses on surfaces.

Covid-19 is a member of the Coronaviridae family of viruses, which includes Feline Coronavirus. They cause a broad spectrum of animal and human disease. This group of viruses are enveloped and rely on a protective lipid coating. They are also the easiest types of virus to deactivate.

Unlike many gastrointestinal viruses such as Norovirus which have a tough protein shell called a capsid enveloped virus, viruses with this lipid coating are relatively vulnerable and easier to destroy.

There are several methods available to destroy the lipid coating:-

– Alcohol-based products disintegrate the protective lipids.
– Quaternary ammonium disinfectants, commonly used in healthcare and food-service industries, attack protein and lipid structures, thwarting the pathogen’s typical mode of infection.
– Bleach and other potent oxidizers will also break down the essential components of a virus.

These methods are highly effective at removing dangerous pathogens from surfaces, but they generally only remain effective for up to two hours. Any new microbes landing on the surface after that will continue to thrive.
